Senate companion to H.R. 7705 — 10 of its 13 provisions are substantively identical to the House counterparts. Amends the Internal Revenue Code to treat tribal governments in the same manner as state governments for key federal tax purposes, including tax-exempt bond parity (eliminating the essential-government-function test) and improved tribal access to NMTC and LIHTC.
